France is a European nation renowned for its arts and culture, a major player in world politics for many centuries and a central part of the current European economic and political structure.

France is also a tall, handsome blond with a touch of stubble on his chin, who adores good food and fine wines and all manner of beautiful things, and whose light-hearted and flirtatious nature cannot entirely conceal the quiet melancholy beneath it.

It's a bit complicated...but history's a bit complicated, too.


Character Notes

France is from Hidekaz Himaruya's manga and anime series Hetalia: Axis Powers. To all outward appearances he is a tall young man in his mid- to late twenties, with wavy shoulder-length blond hair and blue eyes. He is charming and flirtatious to men and women alike, fond of romance and roses, and frequently comes across as more flippant than he really is.
